On June 16th, the 2023 Financial Industry Critical Information Infrastructure Development Forum, along with the 'Inquiry' series seminar on digital transformation in the financial industry under the new situation, was held in Beijing. The event was hosted by the Cloud Computing & Big Data Research Institute of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and organized by Sihui Science and Technology Education (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Halo Tech was invited as a guest.
The forum theme was 'Multiple Measures to Consolidate the 'Digital Foundation' for Financial Transformation, Innovation, and Development.' It was chaired by Mr. He Yang, Director of the Financial Technology Department at the CAICT Cloud Computing & Big Data Research Institute. Mr. Cao Jing, founder of Halo Tech, along with experts from three other companies, were invited as guests for the forum. At the meeting, Mr. Cao Jing expressed that 'Digital China' will enter the fast lane, and the data security field, with database technology at its core, is expected to usher in 'significant acceleration.' As the 'root technology' of the digital economy, the importance of databases is no less than that of chips; all data must run within databases. Mr. Cao Jing also stated that Chinese databases cannot mature overnight and must inevitably undergo a long process of refinement. However, as long as we sow the seeds of tolerance and innovation today, and procure, use, and nurture Chinese databases in their infancy more, we can reap the fruits of excellence and maturity tomorrow.
During the keynote speech session, Mr. Wang Yufei, head of Halo Tech, reported on the 'Phased Achievements of the Xihe (Halo) Database.'
Mr. Wang Yufei briefly introduced the company's development history and founding experience, as well as the Halo database series products, including the software copyrights and other achievements obtained so far.
Finally, Mr. Wang Yufei shared some real customer cases, explaining the successful transition of financial systems from Oracle database systems to Halo database systems, which not only protects existing corporate investments but also reduces enterprise migration costs.
