Recently, the mandatory national standard GB 18030-2022 'Information Technology - Chinese Coded Character Set' standards briefing conference and the first batch of certified product testing release conference, hosted by the China Electronics Standardization Institute, was successfully held in Beijing. Halo Tech was invited to attend as a guest.
The organizers pointed out during the conference that the mandatory national standard GB 18030-2022 'Information Technology - Chinese Coded Character Set' has been officially implemented since August 1, 2023. The new standard specifies the encoding for 88,115 Chinese characters (including radicals) and the scripts of 10 ethnic minorities in China. It is the foundation for Chinese information processing and interconnection for various software and hardware products. According to the 'Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China,' from the implementation date of the new standard, all technical products with Chinese information processing and exchange functions produced, sold, imported, or provided within China must comply with the provisions of the new standard.

Simultaneously, the organizers awarded 'Certificates of Honor' to the first batch of products that passed the testing and certification. The Yijing Halo Database was privileged to receive this honor.

The Halo Database consistently adheres to national database standards and actively participates in the formulation of national database standards, contributing its modest efforts to China's database industry!
